Orca, a free, open source, flexible, and extensible screen reader that provides access to the graphical desktop via speech and refreshable braille, is now at version 3.6.2.

Orca works with applications and toolkits that support the Assistive Technology Service Provider Interface (AT-SPI), which is the primary assistive technology infrastructure for Linux and Solaris.

Highlights of Orca 3.6.2:

• Orca no longer fails to display the download “dialog" widgets;
• A fix for Orca continuing to speak, when speech is disabled via the preferences dialog, has been implemented;
• The performance of building flat review context has been improved;
• Handle applications no longer return 0 in minimal increment for Value;
• importlib.import_module() is now used instead of __import__() and imp.reload() instead of reload()

A complete backlog of updates and bug fixes can be found in the GNOME repository.
