Orca, a free, open source, flexible, and extensible screen reader that provides access to the graphical desktop via speech and refreshable Braille, is now at version 3.10.

Orca works with applications and toolkits that support the Assistive Technology Service Provider Interface (AT-SPI), which is the primary assistive technology infrastructure for Linux and Solaris.

GNOME 3.10 hasn't been officially released as of yet, but this doesn't mean that the applications that make up the desktop environment are now up for grabs.

According to the changelog, Orca no longer fails to present the GtkButton children of a GtkListBox row, it now longer shuts down unused synthesizers which have initialized within the preferences dialog, and much more.

A complete backlog of updates and bug fixes can be found in the GNOME repository. Download Orca 3.10 right now from Softpedia.
