Sierra Wireless (SWIR), a wireless data technology developer from Vancouver, Canada, has announced that they will provide Orange France equipment for its new
HSPDA 3G+ Network. Orange will use the Sierra Wireless AirCard 850 Mobile PC card to improve the broadband access of its customers, with speeds of 1 megabit per second (with bursts of up to 1.8 Mbps), that will become something ordinary.

This new 3G+ HSPDA technology will also offer the Orange users the possibility to transfer larger files in less time, to use streaming video services, to connect to the internet more easily, read or write emails, and use online applications with more bandwidth available than ever before.

The Sierra Wireless device will be very easy to integrate with your laptop, having a slim design, thus being very easy to store it inside the laptop, with the included antenna attached. Furthermore, it will be able to function on EDGE or GSM/GPRS networks, with support for international roaming, whenever a connection to a UTMS or HSPDA network will not be available.
