14 DAY TRIAL // Bytemobile, the global leader in optimization solutions for mobile data networks has announced the successful deployment of its Optimization Service Node(OSN) 3.1 on Orange Romania's network.
Orange Romania, a part of the Orange group is the largest wireless network in the country, with approximately 8 million subscribers at the end of 2006.
The mobile operator offers 3G services in 20 cities and EDGE (2.5) coverage nationwide. In order to stay close to its subscribers, Orange has developed of wide network of shops that include 42 locations all over the country.
Now, through Bytemobile's optimization solution, Orange Romania will provide faster Internet access. The optimization solution is meant to accelerate data traffic speeds by 3x-7x for both 3G and EDGE Internet access for Orange subscribers.
