Orange has just announced the upcoming availability of three new phones aimed at those addicted to social networking services.

Alcatel ONE TOUCH 585F, ONE TOUCH 813F, and ONE TOUCH 908F will be available in Romania and Poland by the end of the year, and will arrive in other European and African countries throughout 2012.

The affordable handsets will be delivered with deep Facebook integration, including a dedicated ‘F’ key, which allows users to instantly interact with their Facebook accounts.

Touted the cheapest Android smartphone available from Orange, the Alcatel ONE TOUCH 908F is powered by Google's Android 2.2 Froyo platform and will be available for under €100 (135 USD).

The rise of the smartphone and the explosion of social networks have completely changed how people keep in touch and share content. Until now many consumers across Africa and Europe have not had access to a phone that offers deep Facebook integration at an affordable price,” said Yves Maitre, Senior Vice President of Mobile Multimedia and Devices, Orange.

The smartphone comes with a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen that supports 262k colors and 240 x 320 pixels resolution. It packs 150 MB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Alcatel ONE TOUCH 908F is an entry-level smartphone, hence it is powered by a low-performance 600 MHz processor.

According to Orange, customers who purchase one of the three affordable phones will be offered unlimited Facebook access without extra data charges, depending on the plan selected.

We feel strongly that it is Orange’s role to enable customers to enjoy a digitally rich, connected life and this and future work with Facebook and ALCATEL ONE TOUCH will allow us to open up mobile social media access to even more of our customers,” added Maitre.

The Facebook-centric phones will be launched in 15 countries by the end of 2012.
