14 DAY TRIAL // Chinese handset maker Huawei has just announced the upcoming availability of two new budget-friendly smartphones in India, the Honor 4C and Honor Bee.
In fact, Huawei Honor 4C is already available for purchase for Rs 8,999 ($140) outright, while the Honey Bee can only be pre-ordered for the moment for just Rs 4,999 ($80) off-contract.
Since these are tagged as budget-friendly, don't expect any high-end specs, not even a newer version of Android. In fact, both Huawei smartphones ship with Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box, along with EMUI 3.0 on top.
The cheapest of the two, Huawei Honor Bee sports a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution.
On the inside, the Honor Bee is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. The smartphone also packs microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Huawei Honor Bee comes with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 2-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.
It's also worth mentioning that the Honor Bee is powered by a removable 1730 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
Moving on to Huawei Honor 4C, the smartphone features a slightly larger 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.
In addition, the smartphone is equipped with a 64-bit octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 620 processor, a Mali-T450 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.
On the back, the Honor 4C packs a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for great selfies.
Last but not least, Huawei Honor 4C is powered by a 2,550 mAh battery and offers dual-SIM support, among other connectivity features.
