Wireless carrier Orange UK announced today that it decided to update a series of plans that it was offering to its business users. According to the operator, the new updates come to the company's Business Solo and Business Infinity plans, and are meant mainly to help its customers overcome the recession. When it comes to the former tariff, business users on Orange can enjoy ‘double benefits’, while those on the latter will receive increased data allowance and lower monthly costs.

Orange reveals that its users who sign up for a Business Solo plan will have the opportunity to select two benefits when choosing 24-month contracts, and not only one benefit as before. The list of benefits available for them includes: unlimited Orange to Orange calls, unlimited landline calls, unlimited UK texts, unlimited BlackBerry Internet Service email and up to 500MB of browsing. However, the UK wireless carrier also notes that “all unlimited offers are subject to a fair usage policy.”

At the same time, it should be noted that Orange plans on reducing all Business Infinity tariffs by £10 for all 18, 24 and 36 month customers. Moreover, the company intends to operate an increase in data allowance from 250Mb to 500Mb, which, in its opinion, can be translated in a number of 800 additional emails. At the same time, the mobile phone operator says that the Business Infinity data allowance increase is being operated only to its 24 and 36 month contract offerings.

Martin Lyne, director for small and medium business at Orange UK commented: “In 2010 it will be important that we help our customers be in the best position possible to make the most of the possible economic upturn. By continuing to offer great value for money across many of our business tariffs, we want to ensure we can provide our customers with the flexibility they need to build a plan that meets and suits their needs. Whether it is through lowering the cost of tariffs or increasing data allowance, we want to make sure all of our business customers are catered for.”
