The update is available for download OTA (over the air)

Shortly after Australian carrier Vodafone announced the availability of Jelly Bean for HTC One X, Optus released the same update for its own One X device.

The folks at AusDroid report that Optus is silently rolling out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade for HTC One X devices, though we’re still waiting for the carrier to make it official.

Anyway, it looks like the Jelly Bean update is about 360MB in size and is pushed through OTA (over the air), so those who have not received the update notification are likely to get it a bit later.

However, all HTC One X owners that have purchased their devices via Optus can manually request it from the update servers by going to Settings / About phone / Software update / Check now.
