It looks like LG Optimus Vu is about to hit shelves in the states. The smartphone will be available for purchase at Verizon Wireless for as low as $199.99 USD (160 EUR) with a new two-year agreement.

Customers who do not want to commit to a long-term contract will have to come up with $549.99 USD (440 EUR) upfront in order to grab the phone.

Keep in mind that the Optimus Vu will be known as LG Intuition. The smartphone will be shipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, an Adreno 220 GPU, 1 GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

We’re not sure whether or not the LG Intuition will be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box, or customers will have to wait for an upgrade.
