South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is one of the official partners for Windows Phone 7's launch today, and it seems that the company can hardly wait for the actual unveiling of its WP7 handsets to arrive.

A few hours ahead the official launch event, the company published all the necessary info on its Windows Phone 7-based LG Optimus 7 mobile device, long rumored to be among the first devices that would bring the new platform to shelves.

We've already met the mobile phone quite a few times before, but now we can have a look at the official specs list it would land on shelves with, as well as at some of the features the Windows Phone 7 platform would offer.

Of course, the company pulled the announcement from its website soon after it was posted, but Google Cache still has it, and those interested in taking a better look at it should head here for that (via Pocket-lint).

Measuring 125 x 59.8 x 11.5mm, the new LG Optimus 7 should pack a 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display, as well as a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED Flash and 720p HD video recording capabilities.

The upcoming device should also include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity options, as well as 3.5mm headphone jack, along with Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient Light sensor, and Digital Compass.

The LG Optimus 7 also comes with DLNA-based Play To functionality, that allows DLNA based multimedia-sharing, while a Scansearch application packed inside it should offer access to Augmented Reality technology.

All of the features previously reported to come with Windows Phone 7 would also be included into the mix, such as Xbox LIVE and Zune services, as well as Bing search, and more.

According to LG, the handset should land on the market in the UK, but no specific info on the release date or pricing were unveiled. Hopefully, more will become available later today, so stay tuned to learn the news.
