Over the weekend, OWN confirmed that Oprah Winfrey had landed not just the first post-rehab TV interview with Lindsay Lohan but also an 8-part docuseries that would focus on her “comeback.” What OWN failed to mention, according to mom Dina Lohan, is that Oprah will also be Lindsay’s “mentor.”

E! News caught up with Dina over the weekend at a public event, hours after the official confirmation.

She said that Oprah would mentor Lindsay when she’s out of rehab, though she didn’t explain what this mentoring would consist of.

“Oh, it's fantastic. If anyone is going to help mentor you, it's going to be Oprah,” Dina said of how thrilled she was about her daughter’s 2 new gigs with the Queen of Television.

As for whether Dina too would appear in the docuseries, she tried to play it coy on the topic.

“Possibly! It's about family… and I'm family,” Mrs. Lohan said.

She would not offer more details about her famous daughter’s most recent rehab stint, but she did say that she would be moving to New York full time once she’s out.

“She's happy, she's healthy and she's amazing. She's doing really well,” Dina said.

“Lindsay is 27, my kids all have their own places. She's not going to move back home. She'll be getting an apartment in New York. She'll be in New York. It's great because [sister Ali] is in New York with Wilhelmina models. [Son] Michael is in New York. My other little guy [son Dakota] is 17 and he's still at home and going to St. Anthony's,” she continued.

“The rest may come home to mom, but they don't want to live with me,” Dina added.

The first interview with Oprah will shoot in August and air that same month. The docuseries will also start shooting then, but presumably premiere at a later date.
