Oprah Winfrey, who is also dubbed the Queen of Television or simply O, has injured her back on her 59th birthday – and it was all because of some flowers good friend Tyler Perry had sent over to mark the occasion.

The good news is that she’s already made a full recovery. Even better news is that she’s not upset with Perry, mostly because she got to spend an extra day in bed because of the injury.

“I FEEL SO BAD,” Perry wrote on Facebook the day after Oprah’s birthday.

As fans must already know, these two aren’t just good friends, they’re also business partners. It made sense for Perry to want to make his surprise to Oprah a huge one.

“I like to send really large flower arrangements to people for whatever occasion. Well, I sent one to Oprah yesterday for her birthday,” he explained.

His good intentions backfired, in a way.

“She strained her back picking it up. No joke! Feel better Oprah. Happy birthday. Sorry. :-( Next year I'm sending her one rose. :-),” Perry explained.

On the day before her birthday, Oprah had tweeted that she had every intention of spending the day in bed or, at the very least, not getting out of her pajamas.

She also said she and longtime beau Stedman Graham had made “plans” to really enjoy their time together by not doing anything special.

As for Perry and the huge flower arrangement that he sent her, Oprah wasn’t about to let her birthday be ruined by that.

She posed for a picture that she posted to her Twitter the next day, surrounded by flowers, clearly happy.

“Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes,” she wrote.

“@tylerperry no need to feel bad, love the roses and got an extra day in bed. Can you say #icepack,” she added a short while later, just in case Perry was still feeling sorry about the incident.
