Oppo is one of the most popular handset makers in China, which is why the company has decided to take on other markets as well. India might be another country where Oppo could get a lot of market share given its rather cheap smartphones.

Given the experience that Oppo has from the Chinese smartphone market where competition is at least as tough as in India, we are pretty certain that the company will be successful if it chooses the right marketing policy.

The next Oppo smartphone to go on sale seems to be the company’s flagship smartphone, the Oppo Find 7, which was officially unveiled about three months ago.

According to Technodify, Oppo has already started to send invitations for a press event that is set to take place in India on June 11. The only device that Oppo is expected to introduce is the Find 7 and nothing else.

Customers in India will be happy to know that Oppo Find 7 is among the first smartphones announced to boast a quad HD display, which means that it will support 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.

The 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display features 534ppi (pixel per inch) and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating for extra protection.

The bad news is that the smartphone does not seem to offer dual-SIM capability and comes with an older version of Android, namely Jelly Bean 4.3. In fact, Find 7 runs a specially tailored Android version, which has been developed by Oppo and is called Color OS.

It does seem unacceptable for a flagship smartphone these days to have another version of Android than KitKat, but Oppo is likely to offer an upgrade to Android 4.4.2 in the future. Hopefully, that will happen sooner rather than later.

Aside from the stunning display, Oppo Find 7 has a powerful 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, an Adreno 330 graphic processing unit and no less than 3GB of RAM.

It comes packed with 32GB of internal memory, but also allows users to further expand storage up to 128GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, the flagship smartphone boasts an impressive 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and 4K video recording. There’s also a secondary no less impressive 5-megapixel camera in the front, which is perfect for selfies.

The phone offers LTE and HSPA+ connectivity options, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and NFC (Near Field Communication). Oppo Find 7 is powered by a 3000 mAh battery, which is not yet rated by the Chinese OEM.
