Oppo’s Find 5 is one of the latest Android-based smartphones to have received access to the CyanogenMod 10.1 release.

For those who would like a change from the stock UI that Oppo Find 5 was made official with last year, an alternative is available, although it is not an official one.

However, it should provide users with a nice range of new features, given than CyanogenMod ROMs do pack additional customization capabilities and increased device control when compared to the stock Android platform.

As GizChina notes, CyanogenMod 10.1 builds available for download for the Oppo Find 5 via this link are based on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

However, installing CM10.1 requires root access, a process that will void warranty. Users will be the only ones held responsible in the event that the device is harmed during rooting or when installing custom ROMs.
