A few weeks ago, Opera made available for download a new browser for devices running under Google’s Android operating system, based on WebKit, and the company has released an update for the application on Thursday.

Available for download in a beta flavor for the time being, the new browser arrives on devices as Opera 14 (build 14.0.1025.53005), and brings along a nice range of improvements and enhancements.

Those who download and install it will enjoy better localization support, along with improvements for discovering items, and various UI tweaks. The new app release also allows for the external storage to be used for installation in Android 2.3, if available.

The new app flavor also packs a series of fixes for stability issues, along with some for problems with context menu, and another one for the fast scroll button.
