If you're the owner of a larger Android tablet and a fan of Opera browser, we have good news for you. A new slate-optimized version of red O has been launched into the wild.

Opera 18 abandons the flickering through multiple pages feat, familiar to mobile users and instead takes up the tab game, reminiscent of what Chrome offers when running on Android tablets. Note that the new Opera feat will work with slates boasting screens larger than 7-inches.

On top of the Chrome-style browsing mode, those who will download Opera to their slate will get to enjoy specific features like Speed Dial and the data-saving Off-Road function (helping users stay connected on a public Wi-Fi connection.)

Moreover, navigation and menu buttons have been moved to where users intuitively place their hands when they rest.

More than that, the Discover feature lets you swiftly browse magazines and newspaper content by taking your location and interests into consideration.

The Opera 18 is now available to download off Google Play store.
