After announcing a new version of its popular Opera Mobile 11.5 for Android devices, Opera Software is now releasing the first update for the new iteration of the mobile Web browser.

Even thought the developers did not add major features, the update is important due to its technical nature.

According to Opera Software, several annoying crashes have been fixed, along with the web-font issues, while the slow UI animation was corrected as well.

The following issues reported by users have been corrected within the update 1:

- Fixed crashes reported by end users - Fixed issues with not displaying Google web-fonts on web pages - Fixed issues with slow UI animations - Fixed issues with Opera Turbo auto-switching - Fixed issues with IDN domains - Fixed issues with no text in Flash on Honeycomb devices - Fixed issues with Import bookmarks on Honeycomb devices. Users of Android are recommended to update to the latest version of the application as soon as possible.
