Despite handset makers pushing smartphones to all markets and dropping prices to ridiculous amounts, feature phones are still widely spread worldwide.

Which is one of the reasons Opera continues to support its mobile browser for feature phones. In fact, Opera Mini is available for all mobile phones that support Java, regardless whether or not they are smartphones.

The latest version of Opera Mini has just been released and can now be downloaded via m.opera.com directly from the mobile phone. Here are some of the things that have been changed in the latest iteration.

One of the most important things concerning BlackBerry users is the fact that installing Opera Mini on BlackBerry phones is much faster.

Moreover, BlackBerry users who previously had issues with line breaks after hitting Enter will be pleased to know that Opera has addressed these problems, so you shouldn’t have any more troubles.

Developers also announced that Opera Mini can now be installed and used on a ZTE P80 feature phone, which for some reason wasn’t able to run the application correctly.

Last but not least, Nokia users will be happy to know that they if they forget where Opera Mini is placed on their phones, developers made a list of folders for each compatible Nokia feature phone or smartphones that shows where the browser is located.
