Users can now sync Speed Dials and open tabs

With more than 10 million downloads in Google Play Store, Opera Mini is one of the most popular Android browsers available on the market.

According to developers, within 24 hours after the launch of the new Opera Mini, there were 1 million downloads of the application and it became a worldwide high-ranking, trending app.

But that only makes Opera Mini developers more determined to improve their application even further. In this regard, the application has just received a new update that brings a few new features and improvements.

First and foremost, Opera Mini for Android now features a Night Mode, which has been designed to offer the best browsing experience for users, at night.

“We’ve been thinking about a way to give you the best night-mode browsing. Altering the look and feel of a webpage, which has been in many cases has been carefully designed to reflect the author’s style, feels wrong, so there has to be a better way.”

Enable the new mode for better read at night

The new night mode for Opera Mini combines multiple elements, such as the option to select how dim they want their screen to be, along with the “reduce eye strain” mode that changes the tone of the light emitted by the screen into a more pleasant color.

In order to take advantage of the new Night Mode for Opera Mini, Android users will have to go to Settings / Night mode / Enable, and then choose to option to reduce eye strain and adjust the brightness level.

Another new feature included in the latest version of Opera Mini is the option to sync Speed Dials and open tabs. Also, the combined address and search bar now shows the page title when viewing web pages.

If you don't have the application installed yet, you can now download Opera Mini for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3.3 and up.
