Microsoft announced several days ago that it made the Opera Mini application the default browser for its Asha series of smartphones and all feature phones.

Today, developers of the mobile browser released a beta version of the same application, but this time it’s available on the Windows Phone operating system.

It’s also worth mentioning that the application is available for free but has yet to go live on Windows Phone Store. In order to sign up for the beta version of Opera Mini for Windows Phone you will have to register your email address, so you can receive the latest news about the mobile browser.

Here is the only information provided by the developers on Opera Mini for Windows Phone: “We know we took a long time, but our test version is now available.

“Download it, try it and give us your feedback. We'll listen and make improvements to give you the best browsing experience on your Windows Phone.”

Soon after subscribing to Windows Phone beta testers group, you will receive an email on your registered email address, but no download links yet.

The good news is that developers have confirmed that further information and access to the build will be available in an email that will be sent soon. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
