A more PC-like Web-browsing experience on mobile phones

Opera Mini 4 Beta is from now on available for being used on all Internet enabled mobile phones. This Web browser is meant to provide performances similar to those found on PC Internet use experiences.

Opera Mini 4 Beta will feature several new performances. Moreover, it will use a remote server in order to pre-process Web pages before sending them to mobile phones. This new browser also comes with solutions for fast and efficient data transfer. All Web content will be compressed in order to reduce data sizes. As a result, even less evolved handsets will be able to work on Opera Mini 4 Beta. Another advantage is that broadcasting speeds will considerably increase while at the same time reducing costs.

Other new features introduced by this Web browser also bring the possibility to zoom and get a clean view on a specific part of the page. Moreover, Opera Mini 4 Beta changes the size of text in order to make it easy to use on mobile phones too. As to make this Web browsing experience similar to that offered by a PC, Opera has also a virtual mouse which can be scrolled in any direction.
