Opera Software ASA has finally dealt a blow to the annoying extensions popup flaw in its web browser. Currently, the fix is only available in dev builds, but it will soon make its way into the beta stream, and finally in the stable (final) release.

A memo on the Opera Desktop Team blog states, “We’re happy to bring you an update of our Developer stream, inside you may find fixes to bugs that may have gotten under your skin, please enjoy.”

One of the notable fixes is for the extensions popup issue which plagued earlier builds in the v20.0 branch. The problem should be gone in Opera 20.0.1387.16 Dev, but don’t raise your hopes for a very stable experience. It’s not even a beta, after all. Download links below.
