Update includes stability and a fix for the users who couldn’t start the browser

Arguably one of the best web browsers for mobile (heck, for any platform really), Opera Coast has received a timely update today featuring a couple of enhancements here and there and some fixes for iCloud and iPhone 4 users.

Opera Coast version 3.01 includes stability fixes, better scrolling in Gmail, performance improvements for iPhone 4 customers, iCloud sync fixes, resolved searching in Chinese, and a tweak that prevents ads from opening the app store automatically. For one reason or another, Opera Software ASA notes that “you can still type URLs in the search field!”

Seeing how many urgent fixes were included in this release, I decided to head over to the iTunes Store and see how many people were complaining. I couldn’t find a single negative review going back all the way to January 2014. And those who are upset basically just trash Apple for not being able to equip iOS with a web browser similar to Opera Coast.

Anyhow, if you think Opera Coast 3.01 has some fixes that you might need, go ahead and grab it from the App Store now. It’s free and it’s awesome. It’s also localized in more than two dozen different languages and only requires iOS 6.0.
