Opera has just announced that it has released a small update for its main Android browser. Based on the reports and feedback received from their previous release, developers have been able to further fine-tune the Android application in this new iteration.

According to the official changelog, the latest update for Opera Browser for Android included lots of Chromium security fixes.

In addition, Opera confirmed it has fixed an issue where passwords were sometimes not stored. Another issue with empty tab manager thumbnails has been addressed as well. These bug fixes should make users’ overall experience much smoother.

But the changes don’t stop here. Opera also announced that it has corrected an issue with speakerphone always on and another one that crashed the browser while playing video on specific sites.

Last but not least, a specific bug that prevented the spinner from loading after session restore has now been reportedly resolved. These are only the most important changes included in the update, but Opera also stated that it has done some work “behind the scene” as well.

Long-time Opera users should check for the update right away, whereas new users can now download Opera Browser for Android for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
