A couple of other features have been implemented as well

The Opera team has just released the first stable edition of the Opera browser in 2015 and the application is now at version 27 and change. A couple of new major features have been implemented and a ton of smaller fixes have been added.

New Opera versions are released all the time, but the stable ones don't come all that often. We usually get development and Beta iterations of the browser, which are pretty stable and fun to use, especially if you want to test all the cool stuff added before it lands in the stable branch. Also, users can install different versions at the same time and run them without any issues.

The new features added to Opera are not extraordinary, but they do bring some interesting functionality to the browser. In fact, the smaller changes made to the application are much more important and they make the bulk of the release. It's all sorts of stuff trickled down from the other versions.

Opera 27 brings back tab previews

The ability to see what's being displayed in a tab without having to actually open that page is a very useful one and most users never realize this until they are actually using it. Now, the developers have implemented it once more.

"Tab preview is back! When you click to expand the tab list and move the cursor over the names, you'll also see previews, so it will be easier to distinguish the desired tab. It’s a simple, yet powerful, solution," reads the official blog entry.

Also, a fresh navigation bar is now available in the new tab, making it much easier to know where you are at all time, and the devs are now migrating users to the Pepper API Adobe Flash plugin.

You can download the latest Opera 27.0.1689.54 version from Softpedia. The Windows and Mac OS X versions can be downloaded from the same location.
