Opera remains one of the browsers that have a lot of potential in terms of looks and usability, so the developing team behind the project has every reason in the world to continue improving it.

Today, Opera launched a new preview build that comes with improvements and bug fixes, so in case you're running the developer flavor already, make sure that you deploy this new one as soon as possible.

Not much has been said about Opera 23.0.1514.1 Dev, but it's safe to assume that it packs optimizations supposed to improve the overall performance on both Windows and Mac OS X.

Keep in mind, however, that even though this particular build is now supposed to fix most of the bugs and help address some of the performance issues found in older releases, it's still part of the development channel, so a number of other issues could still be there. As a result, only experienced users should give it a try, as solid computers knowledge to diagnose bugs and send reports to the parent company is needed.

Overall, this is clearly an update that comes in handy to everyone running the dev build of Opera, so use the download links below to get the version that works on your computer right now.

Update: Opera has just announced that this version comes with a new search box in Themes and Extensions, but also with further network installer improvements that address bugs reported by users in older builds.
