“Hi there, we have another Opera Next release for you today,” reads a jolly post from Radek Rzepecki, Mac product tester in Opera's Wroclaw office, almost as if he doesn’t want to upset anyone.
According to Rzepecki, “The only change is that we have decided to turn off HiDPI mode on Windows. This should resolve video playback issues some were having.”
So while you may or may not be having problems with video playback on your Opera 19 installation, the latest version makes sure to cripple your hi-res video experience at the cost of keeping playback fluent.
