The developer channel for Opera web browser has been updated to version 19. Among the most significant changes posted by the developer is the possibility to control hardware acceleration and fixes relating to OS X Mavericks.

Enabling or disabling hardware acceleration can be done from the configuration panel of the application; keep in mind that this setting requires a browser restart to take effect.

Also new is the option to disable tab bar's top spacing when browser window is maximized; it can be found under the User Interface section.

The list of modifications announces that Adobe Flash should no longer block input of characters in Cyrillic or with an accent when the executable file is “opera.exe”.

This build comes with ported chrome.proxy API. This API is responsible for the proxy settings of the browser.

A huge set of less significant changes has been integrated in Opera 19, adding improvements as far as overall stability and functionality are concerned.
