The latest development build for Opera 12 is 1422 and it brushes up stability as well as performance of the web browser. Among the most notable repairs, there are those touching on camera support.

The problems with camera support on Windows ranged from freezes and compatibility to extremely serious situations such as BSOD (blue screen of death), caused by camera drivers. However, the current release corrects all these.

Right-to-left support is also on the list, as the development team did away with issues such as dropdown menu not being opened when clicking the arrow down pictogram or HTML being aligned to the right in the source preview.

Additional repairs targeted a crash that would manifest upon going full-screen on startup. Also fixed is the problem with domains with underscores, which would not work.
