A new snapshot for Opera 12 has been released, getting the browser closer to a stable build. It improves the stability of the application as it eliminates several crashes from the picture.

Multiple problems affecting the address bar have been eliminated, such as freezes when using a keyword search more than once, dropdown menu remaining unpopulated when searching page content with multiple words or search suggestion latency causing wrong suggestions if text is typed too fast.

The set of issues relating to the core of the browser includes the removal of artifacts in WebM videos, Speed Dial extensions failing to load images when idle for a while or incorrect clipping when combining CSS transforms and opacity.

Also addressed in this revision is the lack of a default search engine in the search field as well as a slew of other problems.
