Developer fixes problem with empty list of search engines

The second release candidate for Opera 12.15 has been released recently and there’s a good chance for a stable build to be launched this week.

The developer did not make too many modifications, but it addressed an issue plenty of users had been reporting; the bug caused the list of search engines to be empty and in the first release candidate the developer had it listed as a known problem.

Apart from this, this build of the browser brings to the table another fix, for a bug that caused Opera to freeze and then to crash.

As you may already know, Opera decided to give up their own HTML layout engine, Presto. The mobile version will be powered by WebKit, while desktop build will transition to Chromium.
