It emerges after two release candidates and one snapshot

The developers over at Opera rolled out today the stable release for version 12.13 of their web browser. This is the first final build of the application for 2013 and it is a recommended stability and security update.

Some of the most notable repairs integrated in this release refer to an internal communication error on Facebook and to eliminating a bug that prevented Opera from loading up pages if initially started without an Internet connection; these were actually solved in RC 2 release.

Also fixed is the problem with images failing to load after navigating back, when a site uses the HTML5 history API.

Opera 12.13 features a new auto-update checker that is part of the auto-update mechanism. On Windows, the developer improved protection against hijacking of the default search; both of them have been introduced in the first snapshot for this revision.
