The latest snapshot for Opera 12.10 provides extension developers the possibility to offer higher resolution versions for the browser add-ons.

To achieve this, they have to make available two sets of icons for the toolbar button and the logo in the Opera’s Extension Manager. The browser will decide which one is displayed to the user based on the display type it detects.

Apart from this, the new build brings to the table a set of general repairs as well as platform-specific ones. On Windows, windowless plug-ins should no longer fail when hardware acceleration is enabled. A crash bug has also been fixed; it manifested when closing a tab in substack.

A more extensive list of fixes is available for the Mac version of the browser; among the issues addressed there is the one with the window being stuck in full-screen mode, no input upon pressing Crl+V and lack of progress bar in download tab.
