It continues the repairs, eliminates more crash bugs

After rolling out a couple of days ago a development build that did away with the “black window” bug, Opera launched today the first release candidate for version 12.10.

The set of modifications integrated in this revision is pretty short and, as expected, contains only repairs. Several crash bugs have been eliminated and the Ctrl+reload should force reloading the page. Also, the rich text editor should position the cursor properly.

Among the features prepared for the Opera 12.10 stable there is retina support for extensions, SPDY enabled for Turbo, automatically choosing the faster address of a site between IPv4 and IPv6, as well as support for more flexible design through Flexbox.

DNS prefetching is also scheduled to make it into Opera 12.10, thus speeding up page loading for the user just by simply hovering the mouse over a link.
