At the end of last week, Opera announced the release of a new development build for version 12.10 of the web browser, which would pass as beta release candidate number 5.

This might very well be among the last snapshots before the real beta is launched, since the size of the changelog is quite limited.

The modifications include fixes for plenty of crash bugs as well as other types of malfunctions. Mac users should notice an improved scrolling experience, particularly on pages with plenty of plugins.

Additional fixing refers to a crash occurring when exiting the browser while Speed Dial was still loading; another one was triggered on default mouse event when a document has been closed.

Also repaired is the issue with the progress bar that was barely noticeable on page reload.
