The stable version for Opera 12.01 has just been released by the Norwegian developer. Since it is an intermediary revision, it focuses on delivering improved security and stability enhancements.

Some of the changes correct elements of the user interface that were not displayed correctly in certain conditions, such as favicons being squeezed too much when a large number of tabs would be opened.

Network and site-specific repairs address issues such as incorrect behavior when displaying long content on the private social networking website Tuenti. Problems with secure transaction errors on Twitter have also been eliminated and the browser should no longer crash when accessing Lenovo’s "Shop now" page.

Fixes for the email component referring to crash occurring when loading mail databases on startup or the mail panel continuously scrolling up in some cases.
