Opera is heading towards a stable 12.01 rapidly, as the second release candidate has just been launched. As expected, the list of changes is a short one and ties up some minor loose ends.
Among the issues solved in this revision is the problem with Imgur album failing to load up images. Also fixed is the glitch with extension preferences being lost.
Some platform-specific repairs are also available. On
Windows and
Linux the wand icon is not in the position it should be, but one pixel lower.
More serious trouble has been dealt with as well in this build. As such, in previous releases, Opera would freeze up if a newer Flash plugin were be available alongside an older version. This issue should no longer be in this second RC.
