14 DAY TRIAL // There’s been plenty of work for the current intermediate build to be released, but the stable version for Opera 11.62 has finally rolled out. It is not yet available officially, but yesterday’s RC has been moved in the FTP folder for official releases for Windows, Mac and Linux.
As far as features are concerned, it is not an impressive revision, since it was designed to improve stability and performance of the previous version.
With each snapshot released, it got closer to the end goal, as the development team eliminated plenty of glitches and brushed up the browser in order to offer a smooth experience to the user. The first snapshot for 11.62 popped up at the beginning of February.
All this considered, we should expect the stable version for Opera 11.62 to be officially announced later on today, if no last minute showstoppers are discovered.
