It looks like Opera picked up the pace, because after yesterday’s snapshot for Opera Next, today they make available a snapshot for version 11.62 of the browser. It is a maintenance release so no new stuff is available. The focus in this release is on stability, so plenty of crash bugs have been eliminated. These would pop up after enabling Opera Unite when home.ua was missing or when painting address field. The same unpleasant result would be reached on huge input field or in some cases upon showing search suggestions.
Mac-related crashes occurred when zooming with datalist suggestion box open and at closing the window.
All these fixes are currently included in the
most recent Opera Next release.
