The latest snapshot for Opera 11.60, build 1173, does not sport new features, since it is mostly a maintenance release. As such, it aims to fix issues and consolidate existing options. However, it also brings to the table a message designed as a run-through of the latest modifications of the mail module. The most important changes will be displayed to existing users of Opera 11.60, as well as those upgrading from a previous version.
Among the stability issues repaired in build 1173, there is a crash bug that manifested when trying to close multiple tab stacks using “close all” command. Users would witness the same crash effect upon closing all tabs with UI animations off.
Additional fixes tackle some finer issues regarding the mail module.
There may be several test snapshots released before they push an official update to
Opera 11.52, but the development team is definitely eliminating problems fast.
