Opera released the first beta for version 11.60, codenamed “Tunny”, of their web browser, which is pretty stable and sports major changes compared to the stable version, 11.52.

The current build encompasses all the best parts of Opera Next, which have been fine-tuned and polished in the previous beta snapshots.

This means that Ragnarök, Opera’s HTML5 parser, the latest version of Carakan JavaScript engine and CSS3 radial gradients are all available in Opera 11.60 Beta.

Additionally, the release comes with full ECMAScript 5.1 support and includes modifications of the Featherweight skin.

The impressive revision of the built-in email client is part of the latest release, as well. Among the changes there is mail pinning and message grouping.

All these modifications have been gathered from the different snapshots released by the developer specifically to polish specific parts as a result of wider testing.
