OpenSUSE, a free and Linux-based operating system for PCs, laptops or servers which you can use to surf the web, manage your e-mails and photos, do office work, and play videos or music, is now at version 12.3 RC1.
According to the developers, a large number of bugs have been fixed and a number of packages have been updated. Major changes include PulseAudio, the kernel and Firefox.
The updated packages in this latest version include Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, Wine, Digikam, openssl, and LibreOffice. The Linux kernel was also updated to version 3.7.9.
