OpenELEC, an embedded operating system built specifically to run XBMC, the open source entertainment media hub, is now at version 3.2.2.

Soon after the final iteration of OpenELEC 3.2 arrived, the second maintenance update has been released, incorporating just a few updates.

“OpenELEC 3.2.2 is a bugfix and maintenance release for our OpenELEC 3.2 series and is recommended for all new installations or as an update for all previous versions. Systems running OpenELEC 3.1.x and 3.2.x will automatically update to 3.2.2 if auto-update is enabled,” reads the official announcement.

Other changes includes a fix for DNS with broken routers, a controlfile from 13.8 to hide the watermark, and full screen splash where available.

Check the official announcement for a complete list of changes and improvements. Download OpenELEC 3.2.2 right now from Softpedia.
