Anonymous hacktivists from all over the world have turned their attention to Israel, after the country started intensifying its attacks against Palestine.

Over the past few hours, close to 100 websites have been defaced, and a number of government sites have suffered temporary disruptions because of distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attacks launched against them as part of OpIsrael.

The list of DDOS targets includes the sites of the presidency, the Government Portal, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Police force, the Ministry of Justice, and many others.

So far, the hacktivists claim to have disrupted the websites of the presidency, the Prime Minister’s Office, Bank of Israel, and the official blog of the Israeli Defense Forces.

Other hackers say they've breached the website of the Government of Israel – Economic Mission, leaking usernames, names, email addresses, and passwords.
