14 DAY TRIAL // A number of four Columbian government websites were defaced by members of TeaMp0isoN who accuse them of “purchasing arms from Israel, feeding the forces that traumatize the people of Palestine.”
Three of the four sites (cinematecadistrital.gov.co, galeriasantafe.gov.co, mediatorta.gov.co and teatrojorgeeliecer.gov.co) are back online, but one of them still proudly displays the video that introduces Operation Free Palestine to the world.
An Anonymous supporter, Xyrol, said that such acts are most welcome since if an Israeli or a Columbian member of Anonymous were caught defacing government websites, he “could expect decades in jail, torture, or even slow death.”
This is only the beginning of Op Free Palestine, an operation that will be launched “properly” in February 2012. Until then, we’ll probably see other similar defacements that target companies considered to be affiliated with Zionists and Israel.
