Here’s a quick update on the attacks launched by Anonymous as part of OpDemonoid. The hackers have taken down the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense (mil.gov.ua) and the one of the Vinnitsa region (dai.vn.ua).

However, the list of targets includes a few other interesting names which are currently attacked (or about to be attacked): the website of Ukraine’s president (president.gov.ua) and the one of the Cabinet of Ministers – both of which the hackers plan on defacing, PiratePay.ru, and Dutch anti-piracy outfit BREIN.

So far, sites such as the ones of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (fisu.gov.ua), Svalyava district (svalyava-vlada.gov.ua), the Ukrainian Anti-Piracy Association (APO), the Agency for Copyright and Related Rights (UACRR), and the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine (NRADA) have all been targeted.

Besides the aforementioned websites, some of the hackers who are participating in the operation are attacking the website of the FBI (fbi.gov), unsuccessfully so far.
