Kingston Technology is trying to improve its business oriented memory cards by adding Ontrack's EasyRecovery Professional software version 6.1. that provides data recovery capabilities for lost digital photos and in the same time it has increased the write speed from 100x to 133x and added a storage capacity of 8 GB.
"The demand for higher speed, and image recovery software is growing among professional photographers and serious amateurs," said Joe Teng, Flash memory product manager, Kingston.
More precisely, the software tool is being used to retrieve photos that have been corrupted or accidentally deleted and provides a complete, easy-to-use interface to recover photos, offering photographers a greater image protection.
The addition of the new 8-GB, 133x, CompactFlash Ultimate card provides a powerful solution for photographers who are using more advanced imaging
applications and need both the additional storage and speed of a high-capacity memory card.
Kingston's 2/4/8-GB CompactFlash Ultimate cards (rated 133x) can write images to the card as they are continuously captured by the camera, allowing 'a picture perfect' flow of imaging information from camera to memory card and maximizing the overall speed and functionality of the digital camera system, at least according to the manufacturer.
