14 DAY TRIAL // One of the films I’m most hyped about right now is Nicolas Refn’s “Only God Forgives” and not just because he’s working again with his “Drive” leading man Ryan Gosling. Check out these brand new trailers released for it to understand it.

Gosling plays a boxer and a drug dealer out to avenge the murder of his brother, at his mother’s request – and that’s pretty much all you need to know before you go to see this film.
By the looks of the new videos, “Only God Forgives” is yet another Refn film par excellence, blending a striking palette with eclectic music and scenes of terrible, almost unspeakable violence.
It also promises to be smooth and ultimately terrifying, gorgeous and repulsive at the same time.
“Only God Forgives” premieres at the Cannes Film Festival and in US theaters in July.
