The Computer History Museum has launched an online exhibit dedicated to Steve Jobs. Titled "From Garage to World's Most Valuable Company", the web-based public display tracks Jobs’ life from his youth to his triumphant return as CEO and finally his achievement of surpassing the market cap of Exxon Mobil.

Visitors will be able to get a glimpse of some rare footage of Jobs, including one piece from 1980 featuring Jobs speaking about the early days of Apple.

The exhibit features objects from the Museum's permanent collection, where roughly 3,000 Apple-related items can be found.

Online visitors will see photographs of Jobs and an essay on his life, as well as other unique Apple documents, such as the initial offering statement for the founding of Apple Computer and the business plan for the original Macintosh. In all senses, the exhibit itself is a full-fledged history lesson.

To visit the actual Computer History Museum, it's located at 1401 N Shoreline Blvd., Mountain View, CA 94043.
