If you're willing to make yourself heard on the Internet, you have to create an online petition to sustain your point of view over a certain matter. Because of that, numerous web-based petition services were rolled out but it seems like PetitionOnline remains the top player of the competition. However, LivePetitions doesn't seem to be just another petition service because it bundles several useful features for free. It is not popular, I admit that, but as time passes by, the users might turn to the official page of the service, which is available in three regional versions, to create online petitions. At this time, you can choose from up to three LivePetitions flavors: US, UK and Italian. Now, let me present you some of the features of the service.

First of all, it is available for free which means you can create as many petitions as you want without paying for them. However, the parent company will insert adverts provided by Google AdSense into your petition which can be removed if you choose the paying version of the service. In addition, you can publish the petition on your own domain in order to avoid redirecting the users to a subdomain of the product.

And now, what it seems to be the most interesting matter is the compatibility with Google and Yahoo address books which allows you to import your contacts into the petition and inform them about the page you created. In addition, you can publish the buttons on several community based websites in order to attract audience such as Digg, Facebook, Reddit and other pages.

At this time, LivePetitions is only in beta stages so we should expect some new updates in the next few weeks as the developers really seem to be prepared to fight for the supremacy of the category.
